This year has been our first Te Hiku Movie Festival, the movies have been played on the big screen at the Te Ahu Cinema in Kaitaia on Thursday 7 November.
This is one of the lucky movies to be chosen from our school. Congratulations to everyone involved in the production of this movie. Please enjoy and feel free to leave a comment below for the students.
Kia ora Kauri class. I really enjoyed watching your movie and seeing the ducks for the first time. I love eggs and have not really tried many Duck ones. There were some great shots and speakers in your movie. I hope you make another one soon for us.

ReplyDeleteHello my name is teal and I am from ahipara school. I loved the idea about the litter free lunch token. And having your own honey from your bees is cool. I really enjoyed the movie and it was sad that your movie didn't get shown on the day because it was so good!

ReplyDeletehello my name is Taylor i am from Ahipara School.I personally thought your movie was excellent because you invented the amazing litter free lunch token.I also loved how you guys use animals to get your breakfast instead of buying breakfast from a shop.and lastly i have a question when did you make the litter free lunch token?
ReplyDeleteHi Taylor. Thanks for your email. We are trying to go litter free this year so the litterless lunch token is a way of celebrating people who support our initiative. We started it last year and each week we seem to be giving more and more out!

Hi i'm Lyla, Your guys movie was really cool. I liked how you used different camera angles. One thing you could of done was filmed it in a place that wasn't so windy.
ReplyDeleteI think It would have been better as an interview seeing how we do the lusterless lunch every week and have a teacher explain it to the camera not a student.
ReplyDeleteHello my name is Isaac from Oruaiti school, I thought that your video/camera shots were amazing and your "trade me ducks" were funny. your film was very enjoyable to watch and it is good to know that some people are going green (at least as much as you can).
ReplyDeleteHi Im Michael from Ahipara school. i really liked the ducks in the lake. it was very entertaining. and i really liked the editing and camera shots keep up with the good work.
ReplyDeleteHi my name is manahuia from kaitaia intermediate I really like the part with honey and you have your own bees that's really cool. you could really work on not looking at the camera and looking around the camera that would make the movie look like a real movie.
ReplyDeleteHi I'm Ava from Pompallier School. I'm a year 5, I really loved your film about your school. The lunch token idea is so cool, maybe we could start something like that at my school.
