Kauri Class are really enjoying discussing their maths thinking and problem solving. It is great seeing lots of different ways to solve the same problem. This is great for students growth as they are able to learn from each other more.

We were subtracting two digit numbers. We started counting back in ones but realized it was easier and quicker to use place value partitioning to split the ones and tens.
