Taupo Bay Dune Workshop

Great student led working bee/workshop at Taupo Bay this morning (Friday March 2nd). Students from Rōpū Ngaio showed students, teachers and parents from Peria School how to build sand fences and grow pīngao from seed. There were also workshops on pest trapping with Leslie from Kiwicoast and a beach micro plastics clean up. Thanks also to Laura from Coastcare and Jon from the Taupo Bay trapping group for supporting us with this mahi.
